This is one of the Rails to Trails projects here in AZ. To get to the trail head take Hwy 89 to Prescott Lakes Parkway, then Sundog Ranch Road or follow the signs to Watson Woods Preserve. Parking is $2.00.

This trail is constructed along an old railroad grade so there are no steep hills to go up. Wheelchairs can comfortably be used on the hard packed granite surface.
One can travel all the way to Prescott Valley but the prettiest parts are along Watson Lake and in the Dells.

This trail offers excellent opportunities to view waterfowl, turkeys and deer.
